New Base Class: The Duelist

I am happy to submit to you guys today a new base class that I talked about previously, the Duelist. This new base class takes some ideas from some of the other martial classes and puts them to work in a new harmonious fashion. I think it sits pretty neatly among the other martial classes, especially rogue, fighter, and monk. I used some prior ideas from pathfinder and 3.5. Special shout out to Matt Mercer for having figured out Targeted Strike for me. I have included only two archetypes for this first draft as to not overload you guys and make more balancing work for myself. Please leave feedback, and as always I am happy to use constructive criticism and answer questions. Thank you guys for the influx of support in the past couple weeks, and shout out/credit to DM_Starhelm for the balancing and editing!

  1. This is really intriguing. I love the invisible blade... Intelligence is my favorite stat. I think there were a few grammar issues, but overall it looks good

    2. Whether the duelist is a liken unto/ I believe likened unto would work better. In equipment, you have a quarter staff or (c) when you should have (b). For regaining talent points, does each method regain all of your points, or does each only regain one? In targeted strike I think you should use colons rather than periods after the body parts e.g. "head: " vs "head. ". "The heart of the duelist of every duelist". That's what I've found thus far.

    3. Ah. Good catch. The crit and kill conditions restore 1 each, the rest all. I should fix that asap
